| It has occurred to me that when facing a technique that you know cannot be defended against by using your main stat due to the technique being either unblockable, unsubstituable, undodgeable, etc; a player will often opt to counter. This is particularly true to 1vs1 fights, where a character can simply counter every next round, rending the whole purpose of a technique that seeks to have an advantage against a certain type of character null and void.
My suggestion: When countering an attack with a stat that you would otherwise be unable to defend with (For example, unblockables with STR) the counter roll comes with a negative to the attribute in question. I suggestion would be a -2, or a progressing negative according to the rank you are countering with.

| We are working on removing all Unblockable / Undodgeable under A Rank (This does NOT include Dragon Jutsu as they will be the ONLY juts that will stay unblockable at B Rank) We will give a + vs Block / Dodge at lower ranks, and countering will suffer if vs these techniques if that is what is happening. | |
