When did the fight take place: 09/02/15 Where did I fight: Konoha; Lake Who did I fight against: Tadakuro Kaiya Any witnesses present: None Victory or Defeat: Defeat Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: I have spent too long in assessing my sparring partner's skills over actually sparring, which in the end turned out against me. I might have fared better using some sort of distraction and hiding while observing and analyzing her strengths and weaknesses rather than doing so with direct confrontation.
Details:
- Spoiler:
_________________ I started the fight as usually, testing my enemy’s strengths. I used a shuriken to see in what manner she would defend herself. According to her failed movements, I was able to notice she is more of one that favors strength of impact over quickness. I was also able to see her resilience to physical confrontation. It was then that she took a drink from a strange bottle, allowing her to grow rather strange in both behavior and strength. She appeared delusional. I tested her new abilities with another shuriken which revealed that her abilities grew considerably after her drink. It is then that she proceeded to disable me with a sweep of her weapon (A wooden bat). The power of her damage was also considerably enhanced by whatever this drink is. Thankfully I was able to shake myself back to ability and proceeded to test my enemy’s qualities in the mind department by casting an illusionary technique at her. This test failed, and proved that her mind is strong against such attacks, at least against my skills in Genjutsu. Finally, after testing her strengths and weaknesses, I proceeded to make use of my ninjutsu, which is where I excel at; starting with a water element technique to try and disorient her; a technique that failed as she blocked it with her exposed back. At that time she slammed her bat upon my form, dealing considerable damage. That is when I understood my enemy would defeat me if I allowed myself to be hit one too many times. I used my signature clone to try and gain the advantage of numbers and confuse her. Kaiya defeated my clone in a single strike, forcing me to rely purely on my own skill. My skills continued to be no match to her as her physical prowess overthrew me. My chakra starting to become a problem, I proceeded to absorb her own with my techniques; which replenished me slightly to continue the battle some and allow me to work on tactical assessment. Unluckily for me, her next strike was the last and heaviest. My body had enough of a beating to keep on going with the spar and thus the duel was won by this woman with a strange fighting style. ~ Watabe Senri_________________

When did the fight take place: 13/02/15 Where did I fight: Konoha; Arena Who did I fight against: Kaneitsu Hotaru Any witnesses present: Tadakuro Kaiya Victory or Defeat: Defeat Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: I should have seen the intent of Hotaru of simply damaging me as he spammed his C ranked Fire techniques and called it quits before I got too damaged. His seemingly endless chakra pool was my undoing.
Details:
- Spoiler:
_________________ I started this duel with one of my clones. Hotaru’s lightning technique that followed afterwards hit me before I could replace myself with a nearby log. His move disoriented me for a short time thus forcing me to rely on my clone for a short while. The clone barely standing after his fire power, I took to going underground with my new earth jutsu to analyze my enemy from safety. He seems to be heavy on ninjutsu and very dependent on his fire element. My clone defended himself rather well with his attempts at countering the taijutsu as I regathered my strength underground. I tried to trap him in my inner decapitation technique to no success, as he used a fire jutsu to overthrow me. So much fire ninjutsu used by this man yet I could not know where he got all the chakra from. My clone being broken, I decided to take the fight to him on my own this time; first enhancing my ninjutsu ability and then trying to catch him on my wood techniques. His fire jutsu continued on with his seemingly endless source of chakra. Finally binding him with my wood techniques, I took advantage to repose and replenish my chakra, taking his own for my reserves as I evaluated his situation. If only I could evade his techniques then I would simply end up winning by tiring him out. Sadly, none of this worked as he simply continued to blast his seeming C ranked level ninjutsu at me, intent in burning me alive, had I continued the duel as I gave up and left the battle to tend to my wounds. ~ Watabe Senri_________________

When did the fight take place: 13/02/15 Where did I fight: Konoha; Arena Who did I fight against: Irozameru Hirui Any witnesses present: Hyuuga Azumi, Irozameru Mokuhi, Kimi Meikyuu, Inuzuka Kegawa Victory or Defeat: Victory Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: I was able to overthrow him from chakra enhaustion, he seemed to have hurt himself with his last technique that was clearly above genin level.
Details:
- Spoiler:
_________________ I started this duel with my signature clone, knowing Hirui is strong on Kenjutsu and Light Ninjutsu. He blasted me away with a light technique, numbing my senses temporarily. I retaliated with deafening him for a short time as well. He continued on defending against my attacks for a short time, my wood techniques hitting him a few times. I bound him in place for a short while to replenish my chakra and modulate my use, greatly reducing the cost of my techniques for a while. Hirui’s determination took him to destroy my clone in the next move he made, my own technique allowing me to keep myself safe from his grasp. Next I tested his mind strength, which turned out to be weak as I easily captured him in genjutsu. I took that chance to further enhance my chakra management and took his chakra to replenish mine. Although he kept hitting me with his kenjutsu, I barred him with an earth prison to further manage my chakra. As the fight went on I eventually hit a critical point with my chakra, using the chance to hide underground and successfully trapping him with my inner decapitation technique. Although the spar continued on, taking me to great pains of chakra use, Hirui finished it by giving up. ~ Watabe Senri_________________

| When did the fight take place: Sunagakure Arena Where did I fight: Same.. place? Who did I fight against: Senri Any witnesses present: Alot. Hundreds of people Victory or Defeat: Victory Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: The fight progressed extremly well, but i felt like Senri was not fighting at his peak. Perhaps he was sick? Regardless, Senri defintly is stronger than what was shown in the fight, so perhaps that can work in our favor another day, if people underestimate his true abilities. | |

| When did the fight take place: 20/02/15 Where did I fight: Sunagakure; Oasis Who did I fight against: Mayuko Hoshigaki and AH Hoshigaki Any witnesses present: Hyriuu Suta, Sora Kinoshita, Haru Hasukan Victory or Defeat: Victory Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: Little to say on how I felt about that spar. My performance was great and was able to test some new techniques that compliment my style of fighting.
Details:
- Spoiler:
_________________ Azumi and myself fought with two Hoshigaki. I started with making a clone to increase our numbers; soon to be hit by one of the Hoshigaki that dealt considerable damage. Mayuko made then a series of handseals to seemingly increase her speed as Azumi took to charging her with her Leaf rising Wind technique. My clone continued to attack the other Hoshigaki as she pummeled it easily, almost destroying it with her recent parry and riposte attack. Azumi took advantage for another strike at Mayuko as she hung in the air disoriented from the previous hit. Greatly damaging her, I took my chance to use my water techniques to damage the other Hoshigaki; which seems to have greatly weakened her. My clone also landed a hit on her as she appeared disoriented by the water technique. Azumi was taken by Mayuko’s grapple despite my attempts to save her; however Mayuko was no match for Azumi’s sheer strength that easily broke free. A.H’s moves blocked both Azumi and my clone’s as she finally broke it with her next shattering blow. Mayuko’s attention shifted back towards me as she attempted to grapple onto my body; however my wood wall stopped her in the process. Only for Azumi’s shattering blow to land soon afterwards; dealing considerable damage to her. Next I attempted to catch Mayuko on my tornado of water; but her sister AH blocked it; still suffering some damage. Next, since AH called it out, Azumi took her leave to rest; leaving Mayuko and I to finish our spar. I attempted to catch her on my great exploding current technique, but she somehow landed on me with a hit before the technique completed. I then used my armor of stone to make myself more durable against her attacks. I eventually trapped her in an earth prison to try and replenish my chakra by taking hers. At the end, she gave up as she had taken too much damage from the dual encounter; Azumi and I were victorious. ~ Watabe Senri_________________

| When did the fight take place: 22/02/15 Where did I fight: Konohagakure; Arena Who did I fight against: Gin Murakumo Any witnesses present: Meikyuu Kimi, Tadakuro Kaiya Victory or Defeat: Victory Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: Azumi's weakness to Genjutsu will prove a fatal blow to the Squad; I should work on more ways to keep her safe from expert genjutsu users. Details:
- Spoiler:
_________________ The fight began with Azumi kicking off towards Gin with one of her trademark taijutsu moves; the Leaf Rising Wind Technique. I attacked him with my wood element as he hung in the air, dealing some damage. Gin then trapped Azumi in an illusion; to which I attempted to break with using a water technique on him of minimal damage, but enough to break her illusion. He then destroyed my wood clone with a fire technique. Azumi took advantage of the momentum to once again stun him, which allowed me to damage him. As he was struck by Azumi again, I attempted to bind him with my wood element; but he evaded and gave up by then. ~ Watabe Senri_________________

| When did the fight take place: 23/02/15 Where did I fight: Konohagakure; Training Woods. Who did I fight against: Taro Any witnesses present: Kaguya Darius Victory or Defeat: Victory Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: No feelings or thoughts about that particular battle; my new techniques appear to mix well with my wood element. Details:
- Spoiler:
_________________ Taro started with attempting to cut me down, quite succeeding in doing so as I misjudged her speed. I received a rather nasty gash from it. I hit her with a wood technique in return then she created a clone, hoping that numbers would work on me. Proving her wrong, I quickly removed her illusionary clone and damaged her as she attempted to slice me with her sword again. I continued to use my wood techniques on her, to which she dodged with little effort. I then trapped her in my wood binding pillars technique and then created my own wooden blade to fight her. She appeared to resist many of my attacks, but hurting herself in the process. I eventually took her chakra as I was running low on it; allowing me to recover a nice part of the loss of chakra so far. After a few more moves, she finally gave up as she ran low on chakra. ~ Watabe Senri_________________

| When did the fight take place: 03/03/15 Where did I fight: Konohagakure; Lake Who did I fight against: Hoshigaki A.H. Any witnesses present: Hyuuga Azumi Victory or Defeat: Defeat Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: I have come to the conclusion that those that focus on power over speed are my downfall. I must work on ways to prevent that.
Details:
- Spoiler:
_________________ I started the battle by analysing my oponent’s abilities. I knew that AH was already a taijutsu type, so I tested her mental fortitude with a genjutsu. She was trapped for some time, but easily dispelled it afterwards. Her mind abilities are weak, but strong enough to be challenging for my genjutsu skill. She attacked me with taijutsu but I easily fended it off with my wood techniques. She next kicked me way up high onto the skies, but was allowed to resist most of the damage. I used that time to connect with the nearby lake. I then used the waves to come up upon her body; dealing considerable damage. She attempted to charge me, to then fool her with a replacement while I prepared another water technique to assault her in the water. The attempt failed, and she once again hit me with her taijutsu. She began to damage me properly this time. That is when I enhanced my ninjutsu abilities and prepared my next attack. I tried to combine my wood techniques into one, some of which she fended off and attacked me however she ended up bound by my wood pillars. I took the chance to recover a bit from that. I then took some of her chakra to replenish my own while enhancing my ninjutsu skills again. She continually broke through my defenses and it led to my eventual fall, her strength too much to handle. ~ Watabe Senri_________________

| When did the fight take place: 04/03/15 Where did I fight: Konohagakure; Arena Who did I fight against: Suta Any witnesses present: Hyuuga Azumi Victory or Defeat: Victory Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: I really need to work a way to mitigate the damage I receive; strength heavy taijutsu users are a danger to me.
Details:
- Spoiler:
_________________ I began the fight by testing this woman’s improvement; already having an idea of her abilities thanks to my observations in the Sunagakure Tournament. I threw three shuriken towards her and they all landed; her ability seemed to be the same as back in the tournament as I continued to make my battle-field analysis. From the looks of the hit, she appears to have a really tough skin, probably greater than my own or Azumi’s combined. She then proceeded to conserve her chakra by using a similar form of chakra concentration to reduce her chakra costs. I utilized a genjutsu to try and break her, but she has a mind strong enough to fend my genjutsu skill. She cast her own genjutsu afterwards which surprisingly held me enough for her to damage me afterwards with Taijutsu. I took heavy damage from that, damage I will take time to recover no doubt. I then bound her with my wood techniques followed by another wood form to damage her some more. She still took little to no damage from my techniques however. Suta continued to attack with her mightly blows, to some of which I successfully defended. She continually hit me and eventually delivered damage; leaving me nearly defeated. As she scored what I let her believe would be the last hit, I attempted to take her chakra. Succesfully absorbing it and making it my own, I tired her out enough for her to give up. ~ Watabe Senri_________________

| When did the fight take place: 10/03/15 Where did I fight: Konohagakure; Training Woods Who did I fight against: Kimi Meikyuu Any witnesses present: Irozameru Hirui Victory or Defeat: Victory Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: Nothing to note about that particular training session.
Details:
- Spoiler:
_________________ I started the fight observing my enemy’s techniques. She first adopted some sort of stance that involved a lot of boasting, before she cast an illusionary technique to which I fell for. I eventually broke from the illusion, only to find out she set a wire trap for me which I easily spotted. I tried her physical capabilities with a shuriken, only to find out she has no particular quality to Taijutsu. It also allowed me to observe that her body possesses some type of regenerative property. I continued to assault her with Taijutsu to study her abilities some more; as I suspected she has a weakness to physical contact yet makes up for it with her extremely fast rate recovering abilities, the wound I caused with the shuriken earlier already gone from her. She attempted me entangle me in wire, but I turned it against her and trapped her instead. I proceeded to try her abilities against ninjutsu with a minor water technique. After another attempted illusion failed, she forfeited. ~ Watabe Senri_________________

| When did the fight take place: 11/03/15 Where did I fight: Konohagakure; Training Woods Who did I fight against: Tamara Heiro Any witnesses present: Irozameru Hirui, Irozameru Mokuhi Victory or Defeat: Defeat Thoughts and/or feelings after the fight: It was the first time I fought someone from Land of Demons. He has interesting ways to mold chakra and a unique weapon. Details:
- Spoiler:
_________________ The battle began with an attempt from him to use chakra imbued blade with darkness to hit me which I easily dodged. He dodged my riposte assault in turn and struck me with his blade; dealing minor damage. He dodged my next attack, as so far I only used only regular Taijutsu. He then threw another shadow technique at me which I successfully dodged; this time it was ninjutsu. From his skill, I could tell he is faster and better at ninjutsu than my current level. He continued to do kenjutsu, this time using the fire element; a second element to my surprise which dealt considerable damage to me. I tested his mind fortitude as well to find out that my illusionary skill is no match to him. That is when I finally proceeded to make use of Ninjutsu; hitting him with a water technique when I found an opening in his next assault. He presented to have a very tough endurance, matching my own in fact. His next hit landed, and to my surprise, his blade seems to have the ability to absorb ninjutsu as he completely swallowed the Tornado of Water Technique I threw at him. His blade allowed him to gain on more power to his attacks, which delivered a rather lethal blow to me. Attempting to find out more about his blade, I used another water technique on him. I scored him with my water technique, finally coming to the conclusion that his ability is not always a sure success; but only when he focuses. I gave up soon afterwards. ~ Watabe Senri_________________
