| Forbbiden Techniques (Kinjutsu)
Kinjutsu are techniques that are forbidden for a multitude of reasons. Some Kinjutsu have been banned from being taught or used. This ban could have been put in place for any number of reasons, but kinjutsu can generally be put in either of three categories:
1) Techniques that cause harm to the user themselves, such as opening the Eight Gates, which the mere use of is both highly useful as well as detrimental to the user. This includes cursemarks and/or any self body modifications. These techniques are just frowned upon, and those who use them may be questioned as to why.
2) Techniques that violate the laws of nature (e.g. Outer Path — Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique, and the Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation, which reincarnates the dead with a human sacrifice). This includes any form of controlling the dead, removing limbs / blood / insides and possibly souls. If these techniques are used infront of a Chuunin or above, the Chuunin or above may attempt to arrest the user.
3) Certain techniques that are known to cause massive collateral damage, such as the total destruction of a village and end with the death of everyone in it, thus the great moral ramifications of its potential lead many to labelling it as a forbidden technique. If these techniques are witnessed by a Chuunin or above, they may attempt to arrest the user. If the user refuses to come willingly, the chuunin or above may kill the user on site and return the body to their village. | |
