Darius walked down the road on patrol, empty sheathes swaying at his side with his two pupils a step behind him on either side. Hitori with his standard scowl and nodaichi strapped to his back and A.H, bouncing along and treating this with the serious patrol it was, flexing her gloved hands. Darius slowly led them through Water Country over a period of a few of days, letting them search the area every few hours for signs of bandits or anything out of the ordinary.

On the final day, in the Northwest of Water Country they come across a circle of standing stones with an interesting appearance. While his Genin scouted the area Darius moved to the pillows, running his fingers along them, reminded of a stone he had found and submitted earlier to the Kirigakure Jounin Council. Remembering that there had been no real follow-up to the case Darius came to the conclusion that he would find the other stones. He already knew Jakuren had one and they seemed to be found in the wake of that boy Kamito. And the Missing Shinobi hunting the boy.

*Upon returning to the village Darius heads to the Mizukages Office to request special access to information regarding the boy Kamito and the Missing Shinobi Akuma.*

Although the Mizukage was too busy to brief him, a few select files were collated and given to Darius for his reference //via pm// by Kirigakure's administrative team. Darius was then promptly briefed a task in which was told he would be leading. The rune discovered previously, although fake, had very intricate detail in the seal, which led to an eventual educated assumption that there were seven seals in total. Darius was tasked with locating and securing the rest of the runes. He was allowed to choose another two to three shinobi to come with him, however he would have to keep the details secret from them.

"In the case of discovering the location of a rune in which you are unable to secure, mark the coordinates of the location or the name and allegiance of the possessor." The administrator instructed him sternly.

"We will leave the method of the possession to you and your team. Try not to damage our relations with other villages." With that, Darius was sent on his way.

His possible leads were...

Jakuren - An anbu-strength Konoha shinobi. It was known that he possessed one.

Kamito - The wandering boy who was also collecting the runes for unknown reasons. It was presumed he had a few.

Akuma & the hunters - The hunting group. They were dangerous, however it was known that they, too, were looking for these runes.

Darius returns to Kirigakure, blood leaking from his mouth and gigantic bruise with what looks like lightning burns arching out from the centre of his chest, that leads as high as his neck and as low as his navel. After checking himself into the hospital and determining that he had managed to stem the internal bleeding and his natural ability with bone had already mended the fractures and breaks he stumbled towards the Mizukage Building.

Leaving a report on the Mizukage's desk he details his findings:

-Akuma whereabouts remain unknown.
-Kamito whereabouts remain unknown.
-6 stones divided between Akuma's Hunter Group and Kamito.
-1 stone in the Konoha Vault.
-Jakuren *details classified*.

My next step will be to pursue Akuma's Hunter Group.

A few days pass before Darius receives his next briefing. He is quickly ushered into the mizukage's administrative building where he is handed files and just as promptly dismissed. The files are of course classified as the administrator made clear several times. Darius is to secure at least one of the runes. Once again he is allowed to bring along some assistance from Kirigakure, however details must remain vague.

Potential leads:

The hunter group led by Akuma have been sighted on several occasions leaving river country. It is assumed they are relocating towards wind country.

Jakuren has been searching for the boy Kamito. It was heard that he is also using a Konoha genin to assist him in his search.
